Brilliant idea, and linking nicely with http://www.geocaching-mull.co.uk. Just wish the isles weren’t quite so far away for me, or I’d be there placing caches on a regular basis. The key thing, of course, is to keep this website up-to-date.

An event would be a good idea, but not sure I could make it this year…you never know.

Don’t forget about the YOSM caches (www.yosm.org.uk); there are a few worth seeking out (GC45CC). Maybe a separate entry for those, as they won’t change all that often if at all.

Hello from a neighbour across the Minch. Just found your site after reading “SEEKER” – well done- a great idea and am sure it will be useful to visitors to the island. I am fairly new to caching and last time I visited the outer isles was before I started. Well I’ll just have to come back and as Terry says – an event would be good!! Anyway I’ll wave on my way to St Kilda next week

Any movement on the ‘Event’ front, Les? Need any assistance?

Oh wow Great site! Just stumbled across it while having a look at caches for my September holiday on Lewis. Thanks for this!

A fascinating site which I hadn’t visited before our holiday in the Western isles. Chuffed to be in the top 10 visitors!

Have been looking at this site for a while as we’ve been planning our trip to the Outer Hebrides since December. Anyway – we are leaving this Friday and today I’ve downloaded the PQs using your co-0rdinates. Thanks for those. I think you could mention that the Stornaway caches are included in the PQ for Lewis.

I tried to run a pq along the route north to south but couldn’t get the range to expand enough to cover the widest point of Lewis. I’m loving this site – good job!
